It seems like Romeo needed a little help finding his Juliet.

A kitten — which was deemed "too ugly to be loved" — was taken in by an Animal Rescue center in Spain.

The ginger cat was born with an eye defect.

The Santuario Compasion adopted the little guy — whom caretakers named Romeo.

According to the group's Facebook page, Romeo spends his days like any other normal cat, and plays with other kittens at the sanctuary.

They even posted a cute little video of Romeo in action.

His new caretakers wrote on the animal group's page that Romeo's differences are what make him special.
