Richard Springer, 29, also known as “Kwasi,” is charged with robbery and two counts of assault.

Police say a $3 beer prompted an all-out brawl between Richard Springer, 29, and a worker at the Sutphin King Deli in Jamaica, Queens.

Springer began throwing punches, slamming the worker into an ATM, officials said.

Eve Gentillon was on her way to the supermarket when she saw the encounter unfold.

Springer then fled from the store, but not before throwing one vicious punch at Gentillon, knocking her to the sidewalk.

Gentillon was slammed to the ground, hitting her head on the pavement.

The 69-year-old victim suffered a serious head injury, and was hospitalized in stable condition, police said.

PIX11 News spoke with her daughter Marie, who says her mother had a massive brain hemorrhage due to the fall.
