Bronx man, 70, hospitalized after being stabbed in the neck

TREMONT, the Bronx – Police say a 70-year-old man is fighting for his life after he was stabbed during a dispute inside a Bronx apartment late Sunday.

The stabbing happened 1974 Hughes Ave. at about 11:40 p.m.

Police say two men, ages 70 and 50, got into a heated argument which led to the younger individual to stab the other in the neck. It is unknown if both knew each other.

The victim is in critical condition at a local hospital.

The attacker has short hair and a coat, police said. They did not have more details at this time.
