2 flavors of Oreo Fudge Cremes recalled for undeclared milk allergen

EAST HANOVER, N.J. — A New Jersey company has recalled two flavors of Oreo Fudge Cremes due to an undeclared allergen.

Mondelez Global LLC issued the nationwide recall Friday out of caution for the potential presence of milk in the snack.

The cookies impacted in the recall are the original Oreo Fudge Cremes and the Mint variety Oreo Fudge Cremes. The company says the recall is exclusive to those products, which were sold in the U.S., Puerto Rico, St. Croix and St. Thomas.

There has been one allergic reaction reported to the company.

Consumers who have this product should not eat it and throw it away.
