ALPHABET CITY, Manhattan — Pet owners dressed their dogs in some colorful and clever Halloween costumes for the 26th Annual Tompkins Square Halloween Dog Parade on Saturday.

The event, held at Tompkins Square Park in Alphabet City, brought out dogs of all shapes, sizes and kinds. Though there was a high possibility of showers, hundreds of New Yorkers turned out for the cute and adorable parade.

There were a slew of dog costumes, from the common food ones such as tacos, hotdogs and pizzas, to more creative ones such as a dog kissing booth, Pacman and Eleven from popular Netflix show “Stranger Things.”

Many owners also dressed up to match your furry partners — from “Ghostbusters” trio to “Game of Thrones” Daenerys Targaryen and her “dragon” dog.

And who can forget the news that dominated 2016 so far: the election.

One dog was dressed as “Donald Drumpf,” complete with a white dress shirt, tie, and red hat that read “Make America Drumpf Again.” Another small dog also made a political statement with its “Basket of Adorables” costume.

The parade and costume competition ran from 12-3 p.m. The winners of the competition was announced by TV personality Giuliana Rancic.
