UNIONDALE, N.Y. — Police say a Brooklyn teenager faces charges after calling in a series of bomb threats to his Long Island high school.
Tahmari Lowe, 17, was arraigned Saturday and pleaded not guilty to six counts of making a terroristic threat.
Nassau County police say the last two of his calls to Uniondale High School came Friday morning, as police were investigating another threat that came in minutes earlier.
The building was evacuated each time. No bombs were found.
According to authorities, Lowe used an app on his smartphone to try to make the calls appear to come from another number. The other four were made in the past month.
It was not immediately clear whether Lowe had an attorney.AlertMe
