Homeless man,18, dies in Harlem stabbing: NYPD

HARLEM, Manhattan — A homeless man has died after he was stabbed multiple times in Harlem on Monday afternoon, police said.

EMS responded to a report of an unconscious person at 203 W. 145 St., around 4:30 p.m. on Monday.

When EMS arrived, they found the victim with two stab wounds to the torso, according to the NYPD.

He was taken with serious injuries to Harlem Hospital, where he later died. He was identified as 18-year-old Ashton Niles.

No arrests have been made. NYPD has not released any description of the suspect.

A NYPD spokesperson initially said the victim's age was 23. The article has been updated to reflect the change.
