CANARSIE, Brooklyn — They still don’t get it. The squatters living in Beverly Daniel’s Canarsie home. They’re all over the place now, freeloading while poor Beverly can’t get into the house she bought.

I first told you about this a couple of weeks ago. And we showed you how I ran into a couple of the characters living rent free. The other day I was back and shouted up at one of them on a patio.

“This is gonna end eventually. What you guys are doing is wrong. This building belongs to someone else who bought it with her hard earned money. You can’t just live here for free.”

Not much of a response from the guy. But Beverly’s lawyer Augustin Tella is working on a big response in court.

“There are several people living in there right now and someone is subletting rooms.”

“Did she sign a pre-sale contract that indicated the tenants would be out prior to closing,” I asked?

“Yes. She did.”

I’m going to keep coming back until these deadbeats get out. How is this not a crime to just take over someone’s house?
