FLUSHING MEADOWS-CORONA PARK, Queens – Headliner Kanye West ended early into his performance at the Meadows Music and Arts Festival after his wife Kim Kardashian was held at gunpoint in Paris.

The inaugural music festival held in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park ended after the rapper stopped singing his hit "Heartless" and exited the stage. The Meadows' official Twitter account and an announcer delivered the news to the disappointed concert-goers.

A spokeswoman for Kardashian said she was held up at gunpoint by two men dressed as officers inside her Paris hotel room but was left unharmed.

Before news of the Kim K's gunpoint incident broke out, fans gave the Grammy-winning and controversial artist heat on social media. They said he was also considerably late.

The two-day festival included performances from J. Cole, Empire of the Sun, Pretty Lights and others.
