HELL'S KITCHEN, Manhattan -- Police are still investigating the drunken rooftop rendezvous where a 27-year-old married woman fell to her death after a tryst with a man she had just met.

"She was an angel," Ellie Calvin, a self-described close friend, told PIX11 when describing 27-year-old Elena Gladkikh, a Mary Kay Cosmetics beauty consultant, who died over the weekend.

Gladkikh was up on the fifth floor rooftop of 449 W. 37th St. early Sunday morning with a man, who was not her husband, when police say she sat on the edge of the roof and fell to her death in an alleyway below.

Neighbors are shocked.

"I go up on the roof myself sometimes but I don't dangle my legs over the edge," one neighbor who did not want to give his name told PIX11.

A Spokesperson for Mary Kay Cosmetics says they are so saddened by her death.

And her close friend, Ellie Calvin, wants her to be remembered for the way she lived and not the way she died.

"She was the sweetest, the most responsible, the most generous and kind and giving person I know," Ellie told PIX11. "I cannot believe God could take her away."

Police are still awaiting the autopsy reports from the NYC Medical Examiner.

Both the husband and the man she was with have been questioned by police.
