BROWNSVILLE, Brooklyn — A woman was arrested after police found $700,000, a loaded gun and drugs in her Brownsville home Friday.

Police went to a home on Blake Avenue about 11:30 a.m. after a report of the security alarm going off. When they arrived, they found the kitchen window open.

The officers entered the home after announcing themselves and found about 10 pounds of marijuana, $700,000 of cash, a loaded gun, replicas of NYC Sheriff’s Office and Uniformed Firefighter’s Association parking placards, and drug paraphernalia, according to police.

The woman who lived in the home, Chanisha William, 31, was taken into custody, police said.

Police recovered the items from the home.

William was charged with criminal possession of marijuana, criminal possession of a weapon, possession of a forged instrument, drug paraphernalia and violation of local law.
