Roosevelt Island Bridge reopens after electrical issue halts traffic

ROOSEVELT ISLAND — The Roosevelt Island Bridge was stuck in the open position due to an electrical issue Friday afternoon but is now back in service, according to the Roosevelt Island Operating Corp.

The bridge allows cars to travel between the island and Queens.

Cars were unable to cross the bridge between 4:30 and 8 p.m. today.
