BRENTWOOD, N.Y. — Police identified remains found Wednesday in Brentwood as a 15-year-old boy last seen in February

Miguel Garcia Morán's death is being investigated as a homicide, Suffolk County Police Commissioner Timothy Sini said Friday.

Morán is the fourth teen found dead in Brentwood in recent weeks. Police identified the skeleton remains of Oscar Acosta, 19, who'd been missing since May, on Sept. 16.

Two other teens - Nisa Mickens, 15, and Kayla Cuevas, 16, were also found dead in September. The crime stoppers award for information in that case has been increased to $15,000.

Sini said police are out in force and are doing everything they can to keep the streets of Brentwood safe. Police plan to launch a new gang prevention program in Brentwood.

Police have pledged to eradicate gangs, but it won't be a clean process, Sini said. The MS13 gang is suspected of involvement with all of the recent deaths currently under investigation.
