Notoriously dangerous intersection just outside 2 Brooklyn school creates hazard buses

EAST FLATBUSH, Brooklyn — Assemblyman Nick Perry called on PIX11 News in an attempt to get the city to finally take seriously the complaints of school bus drivers.

There are three massive holes and bumps at the intersection of East 40th Street and Farragut Road in East Flatbush.

"I drive here everyday and its dangerous. But what can we do?" said a bus driver who did not want to give his name.

School bus drivers said they have to swerve out of the way or go over it and pay the price.

"I reached out to PIX11 because the City was not taking our complaints seriously," said Assemblyman Nick Perry.

PIX11 News reached out to the Department of Environmental Protection. They agency said it "will send a crew out this afternoon to inspect."
