Video shows SUV knock motorcyclist off his bike in Jackson Heights; driver sought

JACKSON HEIGHTS, Queens — Police are looking for the driver of an SUV who knocked a motorcyclist off his bike while making a U-turn last month, the NYPD said.

The NYPD said on Aug. 16, in front of 85-71 37th Ave., the 21-year-old victim was riding his motorcycle east on 37th Avenue when the driver of red Cadillac SRS SUV tried to make a U-turn in front of him. The motorcycle crashed into the SUV and fell, police said.

The SUV then sped off, heading west on 37th Avenue.

The victim suffered a fractured right hand and was hospitalized in serious but stable condition.

The driver of the SUV is described by police as a man, between 20 to 30 years old, with black hair.
