PARK SLOPE, Brooklyn – The creator of Luis, a new parking-share app, is helping motorists find parking spaces by offering to pay anyone who uses his software to report open spaces in Park Slope.

The premise is simple: If you need parking hit “need parking” and anyone who is leaving will be alerted. If you're leaving, hit “I’m leaving” and anyone who is looking for parking will be alerted.

Each user has a profile setup with their picture and a picture of their car.

Users looking for parking have the option to tip those who just gave up their spot. Through the month of October the creator of the app is automatically tipping $1 to all those giving up their spot, as a thank you for joining the app.
