Woman, 23, killed in South Ozone Park crash

SOUTH OZONE PARK, Queens — A 23-year-old woman was killed and several people were injured following a car crash in Queens early Sunday morning.

The crash happened around 4:30 a.m., in the vicinity of 120 Street and Linden Boulevard in the South Ozone Park.

Police say Ray Mouton, 53, was driving westbound on Linden Boulevard when her Honda Civic collided with an Audi A6.

EMS transported the driver of the Audi, a 25-year-old man, to Elmhurst Hospital in critical condition.

Five passengers in the Audi were removed and treated for their injuries at area hospitals.

Emergency officials also removed a 23-year-old woman from the Audi and pronounced her dead at the scene.

She was later identified as Desray Leroy, 23, of Queens.

Mouton was taken to Jamaica Hospital and treated for minor injuries.

She was later arrested and charged with aggravated unlicensed operator and a motor vehicle license violation of driving with no license.
