Keeping her legacy alive: Daughter of 9/11 first responder honors mom she never knew

Officer Moira Smith saved hundreds of lives on Sept. 11, 2001 -- and in the process, sacrificed her own.

Now, her legacy lives on at a playground in Madison Square Park officially named after the hero officer.

Her daughter was just a toddler when she lost her mother but said hearing the sound of children laughing and playing inside a playground honoring her mother perfectly honors Smith's memory.
