THE BRONX -- Some of the residents of 1686 Clay Ave. say they haven't had gas for several months and they want answers.

"I've called everyone. No one cares except PIX11," said Magaly Negron, a resident of the building.

Negron says it's been months since she has been able to make a home cooked meal.

PIX11 News reached out to the management office, and they claim the residents have denied access to apartments and that's what is holding up repairs.

Negron and her neighbors say that's just not true.

"We hope to get answers. If we do, we will cook for you," promised Negron.

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr.'s office promises to step in and help get answers.
