NEW YORK — Police are asking for the public's help Wednesday to find several men wanted in connection with a yearlong scheme to steal hundreds of pints of ice cream, thousands of dollars worth of cold medicine and hundreds of energy drinks.

The first incident took place Nov. 15, 2015, when the men allegedly went into a CVS at 300 Park Ave. South. They took 40 containers of Haagen Dazs ice cream and 25 cans of Red Bull energy drinks, police said.

Several days later on Nov. 22, 2015, they allegedly went into a Duane Reade at 873 Broadway and snatched 24 pints of Ben & Jerry's ice cream, 40 pints of Talenti gelato and 70 pints of Haagen Dazs, according to police.

Then on Nov. 27, they went into another Duane Reade, located at 777 Avenue of the Americas. Police said the men took 79 containers of Haagen Dazs, 123 Haagen Dazs ice cream bars and 58 containers of Talenti gelato.

They returned to that same Duane Reade on Dec. 18, and struck twice that same night.

It was about 7 p.m. when the group took 113 cans of Red Bull and 6 bottles of Muscle Milk.

Police said they went back into the same Duane Reade around 9 p.m. and took 60 pints of Ben & Jerry's, 140 Talenti gelatos and 48 containers of Haagen Dazs.

Then in the early hours of Dec. 20, police said the men entered a Rite Aid located at 542 Second Ave. and snagged 80 containers of Haagen Dazs.

Later that day, they returned to the Duane Reade at 777 Avenue of the Americas and took 27 cartons of Ben & Jerry's.

A few minutes later, police said they went into a nearby CVS at 750 Avenue of the Americas and took 20 Five Hour Energy drinks.

About a week later, the men allegedly went into a Duane Reade location at 67 Broad St. and stole approximately $1,009 worth of cold medicine on Dec. 29, 2015, police said.

The drug store thefts continued into the new year when the men allegedly went into a CVS located at 20 University Place on Jan. 3. Police said they took 54 pints of Haagen Dazs, 90 containers of Ben & Jerry's and 22 containers of Talenti gelato.

Days later on Jan. 14, the men returned to the CVS at 300 Park Avenue S. and snatched 24 containers of Ben & Jerry's, six containers of Haagen Dazs and eight containers of Talenti gelato, police said.

The men then struck three times on Jan. 17 starting early that morning at a Duane Reade located at 401 Park Avenue S.

Around 2:30 a.m., they allegedly entered the Duane Reade and took 30 containers of Talenti gelato and 30 pints of Ben & Jerry's, according to police.

That evening, they entered another Duane Reade at 1191 Second Ave. and snagged 100 pints of Haagen Dazs, 26 containers of Ben & Jerry's and 10 Talenti gelatos.
