BRONX, N.Y. — Bronx State Senator Ruben Diaz is calling for the Administration for Children Services to investigate Anthony Weiner for child abuse and neglect.

The disgraced congressman is maintaining his silence amid his latest scandal.

A photo showing Weiner in his underwear with his four-year-old son with estranged wife Huma Abedin next to him is making waves online. The photo was taken one year ago while Weiner allegedly sexed with a woman from California.

The inappropriate picture prompted  Bronx State Senator Ruben Diaz to call for an investigation by New York City’s Administration for Children Services.

Diaz said he's not alone in his feelings and has made calls to ACS.

"ACS has to decide what's going to happen with the baby," said Diaz.

He also said Abedin,  one of Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton’s closest advisors, is not exempt of blame.

"Huma Abedin is also responsible," said Diaz. "She abandoned that house. When they got married, they got married to satisfy each other's sexual needs."

PIX11 News reached out to ACS, but the agency said they could not comment on specific cases.
