17-year-old arrested, charged for allegedly raping 14-year-old in Brooklyn

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn — Police arrested a 17-year-old who allegedly raped a 14-year-old girl in Brooklyn, officials said.

Justin Lopez was hit with charges for rape, criminal sexual act, sexual misconduct, endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse during his Wednesday evening arraignment.

Lopez and another man allegedly repeatedly raped the victim on July 2, even after she cried and fell to the ground, according to court documents.

The man who was allegedly with Lopez on July 2 has not yet been arrested.

Lopez is scheduled to be back in court on Oct. 25.
