NEW YORK – One WTC rises 1,776 feet above New York City. The spire sits atop the building illuminated by nearly 300 LED lights.

To commemorate the National Park Service's 100th anniversary, a special party was held at Brooklyn Bridge Park.

Dancers lined up to move along a special floor that was connected to a computer. Their movements triggered the lights on the spire.

There are 22 National Parks and Sites in New York and nine locations in New Jersey.
