Police investigating fatal Gravesend shooting

GRAVESEND, Brooklyn — A man was fatally shot in the Gravesend area of Brooklyn early Sunday.

Daquan Spencer, 31, was shot around 1:30 a.m. Sunday at Stillwell Avenue and Avenue V, police said.

EMS found him unconscious and unresponsive.

Spencer was shot several times in his head and torso, according to police.

He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

No arrests have been made and police are searching for the person or persons involved in the shooting.
