NEW BRUNSWICK, N.J. — The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital invited PIX11 News to a very special party Thursday.

It was their annual summer party to spread hope to children suffering from various illnesses. In addition to games and food, there was a lot of inspiration.

"I want to be a fairy," said 8-year-old Armoni Sloan, who has been in and out of the hospital for the last several years battling a birth defect.

PIX11 News teamed up with Toys R Us and gave 30 kids gift certificates.

"Thank you PIX11," said said Barbara Romito, the Director of the Child Life Program.
