Man slashed in arm outside Brooklyn Shake Shack, police say

DOWNTOWN BROOKLYN — A 57-year-old man slashed someone in the arm outside a Brooklyn Shake Shack Thursday afternoon, police said.

Lacey Maxwell was arguing with the 53-year-old man around 2:50 p.m. when he pulled a knife, police said. Maxwell allegedly slashed the victim’s right forearm. The victim was rushed to New York Methodist Hospital where he had surgery.

Maxwell was arrested and charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. He is scheduled to be arraigned Friday.
