CORONA, Queens — A pregnant woman was stabbed with a rusty knife at a Queens subway station allegedly by her boyfriend’s friend, police and law enforcement sources said Wednesday.

The victim was waiting at the 111th Street 7-train station in Corona when she was approached by a man who demanded she hand over her purse, officials said.

She allegedly told the knife-wielding mugger not to hurt her and that she is pregnant, but he didn’t care. He slashed her in the right shoulder then snatched her purse and ran away.

A police source told PIX11 News the victim recognized her attacker as a friend of her boyfriend. The suspect, identified as Scott Gooden, has been arrested.
