Alleged gunman arrested after showing up at the same Bronx hospital as his victim, police say

LONGWOOD, The Bronx —A suspected gunman was arrested Monday for shooting a 37-year-old man in the face during an early morning dispute near Rainey Park in The Bronx, police said.

The victim was taken to Lincoln Medical Center around 2 a.m. and is likely to survive, officials said.

The victim identified his alleged shooter at the hospital after the suspect, a 21-year-old man, showed up at Lincoln Medical Center with a broken jaw, police said.

Police have not released the identities of the victim or the alleged shooter.
