Cops search for man in Bronx hit-and-run

EDENWALD, The Bronx — A pickup truck driver slammed into a 38-year-old man in a Bronx supermarket parking lot before driving away, police said.

The victim was standing by the driver's side door of his car around 5 p.m. on Aug. 2 when the truck driver smashed into him, police said. The driver fled the scene.

The victim was taken to Jacobi Hospital, police said. He's in serious condition.

Police are asking for help identifying the driver of the red Ford F-150.
