Dunkin' Donuts To Challenge Starbucks For Coffee Supremacy

Dunkin’ Donuts started offering a delivery service to select sections of Manhattan and Brooklyn.

NEW YORK — America may run on Dunkin’, but that doesn’t mean you need to leave home to get your coffee fix.

Dunkin’ Donuts started a delivery service for select locations in Manhattan and Brooklyn on Monday. Donut craving New Yorkers can use DoorDash to order Dunkin’ products online.

“Our guests in this area are some of our busiest and most loyal customers, and getting around town can be quite time consuming, so we’re very excited to make Dunkin’ Delivery available through DoorDash to keep people running on our wide array of food and beverage options in a convenient and easy way,” said  Sherrill Kaplan, a Dunkin’ Donuts vice president.

Munchkins and more can be delivered to your front door from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights.

The company promises to deliver within 45 minutes of an order, but wait times in the city appear to be more in the 60-70 minute range depending on the time of day.

Dunkin’ Delivery is also available in Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
