PHILADELPHIA — Day one of the Democratic National Convention had its fair share of memorable moments Monday and a day later, they were all memorialized in brilliant fashion on social media.

The drama brewing between the Clinton and Sanders camps was beautifully captured in this now-viral tweet:

Staunch Bernie Sanders supporter Susan Sarandon was caught looking far from amused at the convention, prompting a reporter to tweet “Susan Sarandon is having literally the worst time at the #demconvention.”

And she responded – “accurate.”

Things outside the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia were a more divisive with one image pretty much setting the tone:

New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker’s over-the-top and very enthusiastic speech got the attention of many, leading one viewer to tweet:

Michelle Obama, who stole the show with her speech, was a trending topic all night and so was Melania Trump who many took subtle jabs at – amid reports last week she lifted lines from FLOTUS’ 2008 convention speech.
