LYNDHURST, N.J. – New Jersey Transit has resumed rail service on the Main Line.

Service was suspended for more than an hour Friday in both directions between Glen Rock and Hoboken after a train, which wasn’t carrying any passengers, struck and killed a man on the tracks near Lyndhurst around 5:25 a.m. Friday.

Main Line trains operated by the Bergen County Line during the investigation.
