Man shot three times, goes to girlfriend for help

SOUTH BEACH, Staten Island — A 25-year-old man was shot three times before going to his girlfriend’s house early Friday morning, police said.

The victim, who was shot in his chin, upper chest and left hand, refused to tell police anything about the shooting. His girlfriend called 911 just before 5 a.m.

The man was taken to Staten Island University North Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
