FLUSHING, Queens — Police are looking for a man accused of picking up a child and squeezing him in front of his mother in the Flushing section of Queens Thursday.

It happened around 8 p.m. inside of the Bowne Playground at Sanford Avenue and Union Street. The 34-year-old mother told police that an unidentified man approached her 8-year-old son, picked him up while grabbing and squeezing the boy’s chest.

The mother confronted the man and used her cellphone to take a photo.

Police say the suspect is Chinese and speaks fluent Mandarin. He has black hair and was accompanied by a female toddler.
