Police hunt for man accused of dragging woman, 60, into boiler room, then raping her

EAST NEW YORK, Brooklyn – Police have released surveillance video of a man accused of sexually assaulting a 60-year-old woman inside boiler room.

The attack happened in the vicinity of 463 Berriman St. on July 13 around 6 a.m.

The victim was collecting cans and bottles in East New York with another person when she was dragged by the assailant into a boiler room of the apartment where he repeatedly punched her in the face and then raped her, police said. He then ran away to parts unknown, police said.

She was taken to a local hospital, where she was tin stable condition.

The NYPD said they're hunting for a man who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall, has medium complexion, medium build, weighs about 145 pounds, close cut kinky hair. He was last seen possibly wearing a blue sweater.
