QUEENS VILLAGE— Service on the Long Island Rail Road has returned to normal after traffic was snared Tuesday evening.
According to the MTA’s website, trains on all lines are back up and running delays following a signal problem in Jamaica. Train service was also suspended in both directions around 6 p.m. after a person was fatally struck by a train in Queens Village.
It is unknown at this time how the person ended up on the tracks.
