A Brooklyn mother took matters into her own hands after seeing the results of the deadly police encounters of Alton Sterling and Philando Castile.

Her mission took on an even deeper meaning following the Dallas shooting.

Depelsha McGruder revealed on PIX11 Morning News how she decided to make a difference by using social media.

McGruder started a closed Facebook group "Mothers of Black Boys" to provide a forum for mothers concerned about their children in the current state of race relations in America.
