Nick Cannon marches through NYC following Alton Sterling, Philando Castile shootings

NEW YORK — Actor Nick Cannon joined hundreds of protestors afternoon calling for an end to violence and police brutality.

Cannon posted a photo to his Instagram showing the star marching with a megaphone.

Cannon wore an “I can’t breathe” shirt and wrote in the caption ” #BlackLivesMatter don’t just hashtag it, be about it.”

“A life is a life. No human has the right to take another human’s life!” Cannon wrote in another photo on Instagram. “Peace is the message here! DON’T GET DISTRACTED… Hands up Don’t Shoot!”

Protesters around the country have taken to the streets Thursday and Friday following the fatal shootings of Philando Castile in Minnesota and Alton Sterling in Louisiana.
