NEW YORK — For the first time in 90 years, the Girl Scouts of America will be featured on a float in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

According to the press release the float will showcase two dozen Girl Scout badges representing everything from STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math), to the outdoors to financial literacy and entrepreneurship.

The display will also incorporate what current and former Girl Scouts have done to improve their communities.

The Girl Scouts released an artist’s rendering of the float which showcase 3D puzzle pieces that come together as a globe.

The idea is to showcase how the group stands for positive change to build a  better world.

It will debut on the streets of New York City November 24.
