Sean Bell’s mother unveils new book about life after son’s death

Almost 10 years ago Valerie Bell got the worst news of her life when she found her son Sea was dead after being shot by NYPD officers on his wedding day.

For the last 10 years, she has become an advocate against police brutality and played a huge part in getting a street named in her son’s honor and a community center built.

On Saturday, there will be an event in honor of him for Father’s Day to talk about the event and her new book.
