Picture shows thieves fleeing with pizza after robbing delivery man: NYPD

FAR ROCKAWAY, Queens — Four people caught on camera apparently running with a pizza they allegedly stole from a delivery man were being sought by police on Tuesday.

The 18-year-old delivery man was approaching the Far Rockaway’s RedFern Houses complex at 14-74 Beach Channel Drive on May 27 around 4:50 p.m. when a man came up and stole the pizza, as well as about $50, police said.

The man, along with three others, then allegedly fled into the housing complex.

No injuries were reported, police said.

A surveillance photo was released by authorities on Tuesday that appears to show the four men running away from the scene of the incident with a pizza box.

Police are asking the public to help them identify the men pictured.

The four men were described as the following:

  • Male wearing a blue T-shirt, green shorts, black sneakers and carrying a backpack
  • Male wearing a light T-shirt and black shorts
  • Male wearing a white T-shirt, blue shorts and black sneakers
  • Male wearing a red shirt, dark pants and dark sneakers
