JERSEY CITY, N.J. — Prosecutors say the deaths of a couple found inside their Jersey City home have been ruled a murder-suicide.

But it’s not yet clear what sparked the incident.

Police officers found the bodies around 7 a.m. Tuesday after they responded to the Summit Avenue home.

Hudson County authorities say a weapon was found at the residence. But they declined further comment on the deaths, citing the ongoing investigation.

Prosecutors say it’s not clear whether the man or the woman was responsible. Their names have not been released.
