JERSEY CITY, N.J. — A 2-year-old child was found dead inside a Jersey City home Tuesday afternoon, the Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office confirmed.

Officials confirmed the toddler was found dead at the home on Union Street around 12:15 p.m.

The child’s aunt and 4-year-old sister reportedly left the home at some point and were not immediately located by authorities, NJ.com reported.
