SELMER, Tenn. — The Tennessee Highway Patrol says two people are dead after a vehicle drove through a barricade at a popular festival in Tennessee Saturday afternoon.
The incident happened at the Rockabilly Highway Revival Festival in Selmer around 1:30 p.m.
WREG reports that the driver, who is an elderly man, and a passenger in the car were transported to an area hospital.
At least one person was transported by helicopter to an area hospital.
A post on the festival’s Facebook page says there will be a community-wide prayer meeting Saturday evening.
