Suspect takes shirtless selfie on stolen iPhone, photo posts to victim’s iCloud

WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn — Police are looking for a man who took a shirtless selfie with the iPhone he allegedly stole from a woman on the subway in Brooklyn last week.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. Thursday on a Manhattan bound L train at the Morgan Avenue subway station.

Police say a man in his 20s snatched an iPhone from a 30-year-old female victim’s hand then fled through the open doors of the subway and out into the station.

No injuries were reported.

The man is 5’7″ tall, approximately 160 pounds, last seen wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and green camouflage pants.

The man took a photo with the victim’s cell phone, which posted to her iCloud account.
