New video shows man who allegedly slashed wheelchair-bound woman in East Harlem

EAST HARLEM, Manhattan – Police released new surveillance video Friday showing the man who they say randomly slashed a 42-year-old woman in a wheelchair outside a strip mall last Sunday.

The NYPD said he cut her face in front of 167 East 125th St. in the neighborhood of East Harlem around 3 p.m.

She was hospitalized and received stitches following the attack.

Police don't know what object was used to cut her.

Police said the suspect they're looking for appears to be between 18 and 25 years old. He was last seen wearing a black v-neck t-shirt, black basketball shorts with a white stripe down the side and white basketball sneakers.

New footage released by the NYPD shows him outside 2085 Lexington Ave.
