SUNSET PARK, Brooklyn — Firefighters are investigating what caused a Brooklyn warehouse to collapse Wednesday night.

The collapse happened in the vicinity of 43rd Street and First Avenue in the Sunset Park section of the borough around 9 p.m.

Fire officials say the building was unoccupied at the time of the collapse.

A video uploaded to Twitter by NYPD Sgt. Carlos Nieves shows firefighters searching the rubble as a precaution. No fire was visible at the scene.

No injuries were reported.
