CORONA, Queens — A man was shot multiple times in the arm after he got into a dispute with a motorcyclist on the Long Island Expressway Saturday night, police said.

The incident began near exit 19 on the LIE between a man and the motorcyclist and ended eastbound near exit 21, according to police. The two got into a dispute about driving when the motorcyclist pulled out a gun and began firing into the other vehicle, striking the driver three times in the left arm.

The gunman fed the scene and eventually abandoned the motorcycle a short distance away, police said.

Police arrived at the scene around 11 p.m. and the driver was taken to the hospital. He is in stable condition.

Police are still looking for the motorcyclist.
