19-year-old man fatally shot in the Bronx

BELMONT, The Bronx — A 19-year-old man was found with multiple gunshot wounds overnight Sunday, police said.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at 2335 Crotona Ave. around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. When they arrived, they found Brandon Rivera, of Bronx, with multiple gunshot wounds to his shoulder and chest.

Rivera was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

A gun was recovered at the scene.

No arrests have been made. This is an ongoing investigation.
