WASHINGTON HEIGHTS, Manhattan — Police are searching for a man they say threw bodily fluids at a woman in a Washington Heights apartment building Friday night.

The incident happened in the vicinity of Saint Nicholas Avenue and Amsterdam Avenue around 11:30 p.m.

According to police, the suspect followed the 23-year-old victim into the elevator. As the victim was getting off the elevator at the sixth floor, the suspect allegedly held open the door and threw bodily fluids at her.

The suspect is described as being between 25 and 30 years of age, 5-foot-8 and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, blue jeans and brown shoes.
